After about 2 miles turn left signposted Garvald, after about 3 miles turn left onto B6370 for about 500 yards then turn right into Garvald ON INN: As venue. No need to book, just a show of hands before the trail will do.

Stay on the A68 (approx. 30 miles) until you reach the Ravenswood Roundabout with the right turn for the A6091. Continue on the A6091 for approx. 1.6 miles, then turn right onto the B6374 into Melrose. Park near the hotel. By Train: Take the 09:12 Tweedbank train from Edinburgh Waverley Station to Galashiels. Cross the road to the Transport Interchange and take the No.60 Borders bus on Stance 4 towards Earlston @ 10:20. Arrives Melrose @ 10:39 ON INN: As venue

Continue to Redhouse Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A921. At Gallatown Roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A915. Go through one roundabout and at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit down Boreland Road. At the mini roundabout at the end turn left onto the A955 signposted Leven. (Using this route rather than Sat Nav avoids the right turn across the traffic on Standing Stane Road onto Checkbar Road). Continue through Coaltown of Wemyss to East Wemyss. Go on past the school on your right and turn right down East Brae. At the bottom turn left into Weavers Court and park. By Bus: Take the 08:50 X58 Stagecoach East bus from Edinburgh Bus Station (Gate C Stance 4) to The Car Shedon Main Road, East Wemyss@ 10:23, and walk along A955, then down East Brae to the start ON INN: To be advised
