Edinburgh H3 Virtual Hash # 20 Virtual Run and Zoom Circle on Sunday 9th August Come and join us for a Virtual Hash
How it works: 1. Run, jog or walk at 11am alone or with members of your household, following government guidelines. 2. Log into Zoom from 12.30pm = with whatever your want to drink from your own bucket (yeah drivers and Bambi can drink!) - remember you may get a down down so bring spare! 3. If you have a story please either: email the RA - firstname.lastname@example.org, or use any of the other million ways you can message these days, anytime leading up to the event. Or you can raise your hand between 12.30 and 12.45pm and I will take you into a virtual break out room to get the story.... 4. Down Downs around 12.45pm. Once the circle starts, we will mute whilst your GM or RA speaks and unmute for songs etc.
There are online tutorials on Zoom and you can test your audio and visual. On On Megasaurarse (Abi) and Edinburgh H3 Virtual Hash Committee
Tips: Test before Sunday if you haven't used Zoom before, but don't panic it is fairly easy to use.. There are tutorial videos in Zoom Meeting you can click on and it will allow you to test audio and visual. I advise doing this on Computer rather than your phone if you have one. If you log in and your audio isn't working: look to the bottom left of the screen and you will see a picture of a Microphone if there is a cross going across it you are on mute. Click on it to unmute. If it doesn't have the line through it and still isn't working, click on the up arrow head next to it and select the microphone you want to use. If you log in and your Camera isn't working. Look to the bottom left of screen. You will see a camera icon. Click on the up arrow head next to it and select the camera you want to use or adjust other settings until it does.
Any questions feel free to message me. On On Abi (Megasaurase) EH3 RA
A hash trail from Shirley Valentine.
I have set a run from my house, and I shall try to keep it refreshed if there is rain. It starts and finishes at my house West Clifton Cottage on Clifton Road, postcode EH53 0HT. (White Cottage after high tree hedge, on a t-junction.) It would be good if people phoned to let me know when they are coming to do the run, so I can give them a bag of flour to refresh bits of the trail, and a map in a sealed envelope in case they get lost, or trail is rubbed out! Please no marking of checks when you break them, and max 4 people leaving together. My phone number is 07710 383885, and they should end up in my garden. I shall be glad to see them if I am at home! If coming by car, please park on the grass at the side, so the garages are not obstructed. Nearest bus route is a mile away, but you can cycle here. On On Shirley Valentine
NOTE: The bus is a No.X27 Lothian Country bus which you can get atWaterloo Place (Stop ZJ). Get off the bus at Raw Cottages in East Calder (Opp. Clifton Garage) and walk down Clifton Road.
